Ingredients

For the pizza bombs
  • 1 can 8 oz refrigerated biscuit dough Can substitute with frozen biscuit dough, thawed thoroughly.
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Can be substituted with dairy-free cheese.
  • 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices Can substitute with cooked sausage or diced vegetables.
Garlic butter mixture
  • 2 tbsp melted butter Used for brushing on top.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder Add more for a stronger garlic flavor.
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning Can experiment with different spices.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning until well combined.
  3. Open the biscuit dough and separate each piece. Roll each one out and flatten it slightly.
  4. Place a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese and a handful of mini pepperoni slices in the center of each dough piece.
  5. Carefully fold the dough over the filling, making sure to seal it well to avoid any leaks during baking.
  6. Brush the tops of the dough bombs with the garlic butter mixture for added flavor and shine.
  7. Arrange them on a baking sheet and bake for about 12-15 minutes or until they turn a lovely golden brown.
  8. Remove them from the oven and serve warm for the best experience.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, pop them in the oven at 350°F until heated through.
