For the dip

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Leave out for about 30 minutes prior to mixing.
  • 1/2 cup sour cream Can substitute with Greek yogurt for a lighter option.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup mini pepperoni slices (divided)
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning Feel free to add extra spices like crushed red pepper flakes for a spicier kick.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  • Stir in mozzarella cheese, half of the mini pepperonis, pizza sauce, and Italian seasoning until well combined.
  • Spread the mixture evenly in a greased baking dish.

Baking

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown on top.
  • Sprinkle remaining mini pepperonis on top before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with crunchy tortilla chips, fresh baguette, or warm breadsticks. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. For freezing, use a freezer-safe container and consume within two months.
