Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 flatbread or naan 1 flatbread or naan (about 8–10 inches / 20–25 cm)
  • 1 ripe pear 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 1 tbsp 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp 1 tsp honey
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup arugula, for garnish
  • 2 tbsp 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • to taste Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Place the flatbread on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Brush the surface lightly with olive oil and drizzle with honey.
  • Arrange pear slices evenly over the flatbread.
  • Sprinkle crumbled Gorgonzola and chopped walnuts across the top.
  • Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper.

Cooking

  • Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese melts and the edges of the flatbread are golden and crisp.
  • Remove from the oven, top with fresh arugula, and drizzle generously with balsamic glaze.
  • Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Serve as a starter at dinner parties, perfect with a crisp salad or tomato soup. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven or toaster oven.
