Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter Choose unsweetened peanut butter without xylitol.
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 ripe banana mashed
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup Can substitute with honey.
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour Can substitute with oat flour or almond flour.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, blend together the creamy peanut butter, egg, mashed banana, and maple syrup until you achieve a smooth mixture.
  3. Gradually add in the whole wheat flour. Stir until the dough is well combined and forms a ball.
  4. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. Use cookie cutters to cut out fun shapes.
  6. Place the cut treats on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the treats are golden brown.
  8. Allow them to cool completely before serving!

Notes

Store treats in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week. They can be frozen for up to three months. You can also add shredded carrots or apple for added crunch.
