Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, blend together the creamy peanut butter, egg, mashed banana, and maple syrup until you achieve a smooth mixture.
- Gradually add in the whole wheat flour. Stir until the dough is well combined and forms a ball.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Use cookie cutters to cut out fun shapes.
- Place the cut treats on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the treats are golden brown.
- Allow them to cool completely before serving!
Notes
Store treats in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week. They can be frozen for up to three months. You can also add shredded carrots or apple for added crunch.
