Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups Whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup Old-fashioned oats
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup Organic peanut butter Ensure it's xylitol-free if using creamy peanut butter.
  • 1 Banana, mashed Use ripe bananas for a sweeter flavor and easier mashing.
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut oil, melted

For Assembly

  • 12 Small dog biscuits To press into the center of each donut.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, oats, and cinnamon.
  • In another bowl, mash the banana and mix in the peanut butter, eggs, and melted coconut oil until well combined.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until a dough forms.

Baking

  • Spoon the mixture into the donut pan and press a small dog biscuit into the center of each donut.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool before serving to your furry friend.

Notes

Store leftover donuts in an airtight container at room temperature for a few days or refrigerate for longer freshness. Bring to room temperature before serving if they come out of the fridge. Treats should be given in moderation.
