Instructions

Preparation

  • Gather your sourdough bread, peach, and shredded white cheddar cheese. Make sure your peach is ripe for the best flavor.

Assembly

  • On one slice of bread, layer the white cheddar, followed by the peach slices, and then add more cheddar on top before placing the second slice of sourdough on top.
  • Spread a thin layer of unsalted butter on the outside of each slice of the sandwich to achieve a beautiful golden crust.

Cooking

  • Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  • Place the sandwich in the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown. Then, carefully flip it and continue grilling for another 3-4 minutes until both sides are golden and the cheese is melted.

Serving

  • Remove the sandwich from the skillet and let it sit for a minute before cutting it in half. This helps keep the cheese inside.
  • Add any garnishes you like and serve warm. Enjoy the melty goodness!

Notes
