  • 4 cups freestone peaches, sliced Use ripe, fresh peaches for the best flavor.

For the Crumble Topping

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour Can be substituted with gluten-free flour blend.
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a baking dish, layer the sliced peaches evenly.
  • In a bowl, mix the oats, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt together.
  • Pour the melted butter over the oat mixture and mix until it becomes crumbly.
  • Sprinkle the crumble topping over the peaches evenly.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until the topping is golden brown.
  • Serve warm, optionally with ice cream.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store Peach Crisp in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at low temperature. For a nuttier flavor, consider adding chopped nuts like almonds or walnuts to the crumble topping.
