Ingredients
  

For the Cheesecake Filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature.
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream Can be substituted with milk.

For the Peach Topping

  • 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and diced Use fresh peaches for best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

For the Crumb Topping

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

For the Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 6 pieces store-bought glazed donuts (or homemade)

Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream until smooth and fluffy. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag and refrigerate until ready to use.

Cooking the Peach Topping

  • In a saucepan, combine the peaches, brown sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat until the peaches soften and the mixture thickens (about 5 minutes). Set aside to cool.

Preparing the Crumb Topping

  • In a small bowl, mix the flour, brown sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon until crumbly. Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool.

Assembling the Donuts

  • Slice each glazed donut in half horizontally. Pipe a generous amount of cheesecake filling onto the bottom half of the donut. Place the top half back on. Spoon the peach topping onto the top of each donut.

Adding the Glaze and Crumb Topping

  • In a small bowl, whisk the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make a glaze. Drizzle over the donuts. Sprinkle the crumb topping over the glaze for extra crunch.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat briefly in the microwave before serving if desired. Use fresh peaches for the best flavor.
