  • 2 large ripe peaches Diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil Chopped

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Slice the French baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices and arrange them on a baking sheet.
  • Brush the slices with olive oil and toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.
  • While the bread is toasting, dice the ripe peaches and chop the fresh basil.
  • In a bowl, combine the peaches, basil, a pinch of salt, and pepper.
  • Top each toasted baguette slice with the peach mixture.
  • Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.

Notes

Peach bruschetta can be served warm or at room temperature. Garnish with more fresh basil for extra color and flavor. Choose ripe peaches for the best taste, and feel free to adjust the amount of basil and glaze according to your preferences.
