Ingredients
  

For the squash

  • 1 medium squash Any variety, such as butternut or acorn
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Grated, use good quality for best flavor

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Cut the squash thinly.
  • Sprinkle salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese on top of the squash.
  • Place the squash on a baking sheet.

Cooking

  • Roast in the oven for 15 minutes or until tender and golden.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the oven before serving. You can add seasonings or herbs for different flavors.
