Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) with a pizza stone or tray inside.
- Prepare the roasted vegetables, shred the cheese, and wash the basil.
- Roll out the pizza dough into an oval shape and place it on parchment dusted with semolina.
Baking
- Bake the rolled dough for 8 minutes.
- Slice the dough open and fill it with cheese, roasted veggies, and fresh basil.
- Return it to the oven and bake for another 6–8 minutes until golden and melted.
- Allow to rest for 5 minutes, then brush with olive oil and sprinkle sea salt.
- Slice and serve hot with optional tomato sauce on the side.
Notes
Serve with a fresh garden salad, crispy roasted potatoes, or classic Italian tomato sauce for dipping. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freeze for up to a month.
