  • 1 pound pizza dough Can use store-bought or homemade.
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce Use a thin layer to prevent sogginess.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers Can substitute with other vegetables.
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese For topping.
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil For garnish.
  • 1/4 cup olive oil For brushing before baking.
  • to taste salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle, about 1/4-inch thick.
  3. Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border along the edges.
  4. Layer the cheese generously over the sauce.
  5. Add the toppings: scatter pepperoni, bell peppers, black olives, onions, and mushrooms evenly throughout.
  6. Roll the dough tightly, starting from one of the longer sides, and press to seal the edges.
  7. Position the roll seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Brush the top with olive oil and sprinkle with parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  10. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing, then garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze tightly wrapped in aluminum foil.
