Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle, about 1/4-inch thick.
- Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border along the edges.
- Layer the cheese generously over the sauce.
- Add the toppings: scatter pepperoni, bell peppers, black olives, onions, and mushrooms evenly throughout.
- Roll the dough tightly, starting from one of the longer sides, and press to seal the edges.
- Position the roll seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the top with olive oil and sprinkle with parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing, then garnish with fresh basil before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze tightly wrapped in aluminum foil.
