Ingredients
  

For the Filling

  • 1 package orange Jello
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened At room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 1 cup whipped topping Add more for a creamier texture.

For the Crust

  • 1 pre-made cookie pie crust

For Garnish

  • as needed orange slices Optional, for serving.

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, dissolve the orange Jello in boiling water, stirring until completely dissolved.
  • Add ice cubes to the mixture and stir until the Jello is slightly thickened.
  • In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Then, fold in the whipped topping until well combined.
  • Carefully mix the cream cheese mixture into the Jello until fully incorporated.
  • Pour the mixture into the pre-made cookie pie crust and smooth the top.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.

Serving

  • Slice the pie into wedges and use a spatula to place each slice on a plate.
  • Garnish each slice with orange slices if desired.

Notes

To store leftovers, cover with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and keep in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Individual slices can be frozen, but texture may change once thawed.
