Base Ingredients

  • 1 cup Peanut butter Room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 2 cups Mini pretzels Regular pretzels or crushed potato chips can be used.
  • 1/3 cup Honey or maple syrup Agave syrup or coconut nectar can substitute.
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate chips (optional) Can use dark chocolate or white chocolate.
  • to taste pinch Sea salt Flaky sea salt or kosher salt can be used.

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and grab a large mixing bowl. Line a baking sheet or tray with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  • In a large bowl, combine the peanut butter and honey (or maple syrup) until smooth and creamy.
  • Gently fold in the mini pretzels, ensuring each pretzel gets coated without crushing them.
  • If using chocolate, melt it in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments, stirring in between. Drizzle or mix the melted chocolate with the clusters.
  • Using a spoon or your hands, form the mixture into small clusters on the lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with sea salt.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
  • Once firm, they are ready to enjoy! Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.

Notes

Ensure room temperature ingredients for easier mixing. Avoid overmixing to keep clusters crispy. Chill adequately for best results.
