Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, powdered sugar, and salt.
  2. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated and form a sticky dough.
  3. Using your hands, shape the mixture into small balls about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Roll each ball in extra shredded coconut to coat evenly.
  5. Place the coconut balls on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to firm up before serving.

Notes
