Preparation
- Melt butterscotch chips in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals until smooth.
- In a large bowl, combine the melted butterscotch with chow mein noodles, and mix until well coated.
- If desired, fold in peanuts and mini marshmallows.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto wax paper and let them cool until set.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about a week. For longer storage, freeze them in a single layer and then transfer to a zip-top bag.
