Preparation
- Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, cumin, coriander, garlic, mint, salt, and pepper. Use your hands to mix everything until well combined.
- Lightly oil the grill or pan to prevent sticking.
- Shape the lamb mixture into 4 equal patties, pressing them slightly in the center to avoid puffing up while cooking.
Cooking
- Place the patties on the grill or in the pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for medium.
- Let the patties rest for a few minutes before serving.
Serving
- Serve in buns, on pita, or with couscous, drizzling with yogurt sauce and topping with fresh veggies.
Notes
Consider serving with a side of tabbouleh salad or roasted vegetables. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
