Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp mint leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil For grilling

Method

Preparation
  1. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, cumin, coriander, garlic, mint, salt, and pepper. Use your hands to mix everything until well combined.
  3. Lightly oil the grill or pan to prevent sticking.
  4. Shape the lamb mixture into 4 equal patties, pressing them slightly in the center to avoid puffing up while cooking.
Cooking
  1. Place the patties on the grill or in the pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for medium.
  2. Let the patties rest for a few minutes before serving.
Serving
  1. Serve in buns, on pita, or with couscous, drizzling with yogurt sauce and topping with fresh veggies.
