  • 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter 113g
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter 133g
  • 1/4 cup white sugar 50g
  • 2/3 cup packed brown sugar 134g
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 large egg

Dry Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 cups plain flour 155g

  • 1 1/4 cups chocolate chips 213g

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and creamy peanut butter until smooth.
  • Add the white sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla essence. Mix well until combined.
  • Beat in the egg, ensuring it is well blended into the mixture.
  • In another bowl, stir together the baking soda, salt, and plain flour.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each cookie.

Baking

  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  • Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Serve warm or pair with a glass of milk. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze the cookies.
