Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Season the chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and herbs.
  • Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear the chops on both sides until browned (about 3-4 minutes per side).
  • Transfer the chops to a baking dish and add lemon juice if desired.
  • Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and juicy.
  • Let rest for a few minutes before serving to retain moisture.

Notes

Serve with garlic mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli, or a fresh salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days, or freeze for longer storage.
