Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda; set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, until well combined.
- Gradually add the flour mixture, mixing until just incorporated.
- Stir in the M&M's candies and chocolate chips evenly.
Baking
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the centers remain soft.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
