Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
Add-ins
  • 1 1/2 cups M&M's candies
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture, mixing until just incorporated.
  6. Stir in the M&M's candies and chocolate chips evenly.
Baking
  1. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  2. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the centers remain soft.
  3. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a delightful dessert experience, serve M&M Cookies with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a glass of cold milk. To keep cookies fresh, store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or freeze for up to three months.
