  • 12 ounces beef gravy from a jar Feel free to use homemade gravy for a fresher taste.
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix Can substitute with other seasoning mixes if desired.
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Adds creaminess to the dish.
  • 6-8 pieces pepperoncini peppers, sliced Adjust the amount based on your taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper For additional seasoning.

Preparation

  • In a slow cooker, add Lil Smokies sausages.
  • Pour the beef gravy over the sausages.
  • Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix and black pepper on top.
  • Add sliced pepperoncini peppers and place butter on top.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve warm as an appetizer or with toasted bread.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stove before serving again. You can add a splash of hot sauce for extra flavor or use different types of sausages and gravies to vary the recipe.
