  • 4 cups Cheerios cereal Feel free to substitute with your favorite cereal.

Preparation
  1. Mix granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt in a small bowl until well combined.
  2. In a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
Cooking
  1. Carefully add the Cheerios to the skillet, stirring constantly for 3 to 5 minutes until they’re toasted and fragrant. Remove from heat.
  2. Sprinkle the Cheerios with the cinnamon-sugar mixture, stirring to coat them evenly.
  3. Allow to cool completely before serving to maintain that delicious crunch.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Freeze leftovers, but note that texture may alter once thawed.
