Preparation
- Mix granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt in a small bowl until well combined.
- In a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
Cooking
- Carefully add the Cheerios to the skillet, stirring constantly for 3 to 5 minutes until they’re toasted and fragrant. Remove from heat.
- Sprinkle the Cheerios with the cinnamon-sugar mixture, stirring to coat them evenly.
- Allow to cool completely before serving to maintain that delicious crunch.
