Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- Place the chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap or parchment paper and pound to an even thickness of about ¾ inch.
- In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until smooth and well-blended.
Cooking
- Spread the prepared topping evenly on each chicken breast.
- Arrange the coated chicken breasts in the baking dish and sprinkle with paprika or Italian seasoning.
- Bake uncovered for 35 to 45 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the topping is golden brown.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes after removing it from the oven before serving.
Notes
Serve alongside fluffy white rice, quinoa, roasted vegetables, or a salad. For leftovers, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or freeze for 2-3 months.
