  • 4 pieces Large flour tortillas Whole wheat or spinach tortillas can be used as substitutions.
  • 1 pound Grilled chicken breast Can substitute with fried chicken or tofu.
  • 1 cup Shredded lettuce Spinach or mixed salad greens are also acceptable.
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese Feta or vegan cheese can be used instead.
  • 1/4 cup Ranch dressing Greek yogurt or salsa can be used as alternatives.
  • Optional add-ins Consider sautéed mushrooms or bell peppers.

Preparation

  • Start by cooking the chicken if you're not using pre-cooked. You can grill, sauté, or bake it with your favorite spices.
  • For that perfect pliability, heat your tortillas in a non-stick skillet over low heat for about 30 seconds on each side.
  • Spread a few teaspoons of ranch dressing on each tortilla, leaving space around the edges.
  • Layer on the sliced chicken, a handful of shredded lettuce, and a sprinkle of cheese. Add any other optional ingredients if desired.
  • Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it up from the bottom to the top, tucking everything in as you go. Secure the wraps with a toothpick or wrap them in foil.
  • Slice the wraps in half to showcase the colorful ingredients or serve them whole.

Notes

Use a mix of both grilled and fried chicken for an extra flavor punch. Don’t skip the ranch dressing as it ties all the flavors together. Avoid overfilling the wraps and always warm the tortillas before use.
