  • 4 pieces salmon fillets (6 oz each, skinless or with skin)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3-4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional) optional
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil or Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup fresh spinach (chopped)

Instructions
 

Preparation and Cooking

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Season the salmon fillets with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Sear the salmon fillets for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
  • Add the heavy cream, chicken (or vegetable) broth, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until well combined.
  • Stir in chili flakes, sun-dried tomatoes, dried basil (or Italian seasoning), and chopped spinach.
  • Return the salmon to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top.
  • Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through.
  • Serve warm with the creamy sauce drizzled over the salmon.

Notes

Serve Marry Me Salmon with a side of rice or pasta to soak up the delicious creamy sauce. A light salad or steamed vegetables can also be great companions. For leftovers, store in an airtight container in the fridge for about 2-3 days.
