  • Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season them with salt, black pepper, and onion powder.

Cooking

  • In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the seasoned chicken thighs to the skillet, skin-side down, and sear until golden brown (about 5-7 minutes).
  • Flip the chicken thighs and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
