  • 1 lb ground beef You can substitute with ground turkey or chicken.
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 8 oz macaroni Cook according to package instructions.
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese Experiment with other cheeses for different flavors.
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 package crescent roll dough Unroll before using.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain it and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Shape the beef mixture into small patties and pan-fry them on medium heat until browned.
  5. In another bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, cheddar cheese, and crumbled bacon for the filling.
  6. Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut it into squares for easy handling.
  7. Place a patty and a generous spoonful of the mac and cheese mixture in the center of each square.
  8. Fold the dough over the filling and carefully seal the edges to prevent leaking.
  9. Arrange the rolls on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and flaky.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve with a green salad or dipping sauce like spicy ketchup or ranch dressing. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for longer storage.
