  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
Casserole Base
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup Can substitute with cream of chicken or cream of celery.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Can use Monterey Jack or pepper jack for variation.
  • 1 cup sour cream
Tater Tots
  • 1 bag frozen tater tots
Seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the ground beef over medium heat. Cook until it’s nicely browned.
  3. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onion is tender and translucent.
  4. Pour in the cream of mushroom soup, shredded cheddar cheese, and sour cream. Stir everything together until fully combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Spread the beef mixture evenly in a greased casserole dish.
  6. Arrange the frozen tater tots on top in a single layer for even coverage.
Baking
  1. Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  2. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
