  • 1 bag Frozen French fries Your favorite brand
  • 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices Crispy bacon, crumbled Freshly cooked for extra crunch
  • 1/4 cup Chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • 1 tsp Salt To taste
  • 1 tsp Pepper To taste
Optional Toppings
  • 1/2 cup Jalapeños For heat
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce For a smoky flavor
  • 1/4 cup Monterey Jack cheese For variation

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven and bake the frozen French fries according to the package instructions.
  2. Wait until they are golden and crispy.
Assembly
  1. Once the fries come out of the oven, sprinkle a generous layer of shredded cheddar cheese over the hot fries.
  2. Next, add the crumbled crispy bacon evenly over the cheese.
  3. Place the tray back in the oven for just a few more minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
  4. When it’s all melted, take it out of the oven. Top with chopped green onions, a dollop of sour cream, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, spread fries evenly on the baking sheet and opt for freshly cooked bacon for added crunch. Customize with different cheese types or toppings.
