Ingredients
  

For the Shrimp and Base

  • 6-8 large large shrimp, peeled and deveined Fresh or thawed if previously frozen.
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice Freshly squeezed for best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup cooked brown rice Cooked as per package instructions.

For the Veggies

  • 1/2 cup steamed broccoli
  • 1/4 piece avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • to taste Salt & pepper To enhance flavor.
  • for garnish Fresh cilantro

Instructions
 

Cooking Brown Rice

  • Rinse 1/4 cup of brown rice and cook it in 1/2 cup of water until tender (about 25-30 minutes). Set aside.

Cooking Shrimp and Vegetables

  • Season the shrimp with salt, pepper, garlic, olive oil, and lemon juice.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  • Steam the broccoli until tender.
  • Slice the avocado and cherry tomatoes.

Assembling the Bowl

  • Start with brown rice as the base. Arrange the cooked shrimp, broccoli, avocado, and cherry tomatoes on top.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro and drizzle with extra lemon juice.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the shrimp for 15-30 minutes before cooking. You can replace shrimp with chicken or tofu. Add more veggies like bell peppers or carrots for variety.
