  • 1/2 cup Kahlua Coffee liqueur for signature flavor.
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar For sweetness.

Chocolate and Texture

  • 8 oz Semi-sweet or Dark Chocolate Can substitute with milk chocolate for a sweeter touch.
  • 1 cup Graham Cracker Crumbs Adds texture; can substitute with crushed digestive biscuits or oats.
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder For rolling the balls.

Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients and set the cream cheese out to soften.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, Kahlua, and powdered sugar using a spatula or hand mixer until smooth.

Chocolate Incorporation

  • Melt the chocolate in a microwave or double boiler until completely smooth, then let it cool slightly.
  • Incorporate the melted chocolate into the cream cheese mixture to avoid hardening.

Final Mixture

  • Gradually fold in the graham cracker crumbs until the mixture is thick and holds its shape.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

Shaping and Coating

  • Once chilled, take small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls, around an inch in diameter.
  • Roll each ball in cocoa powder or crushed nuts for a finishing touch.

Serving

  • Place the Kahlua Balls on a tray and let them chill in the refrigerator for an additional hour before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Best served chilled with coffee or ice cream.
