Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat a large skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Drain the bully beef and break it up. Add it to the skillet and cook for 5–7 minutes until it begins to brown slightly.
  3. While the beef cooks, chop the bell pepper, onion, garlic, and tomatoes. Set aside.
  4. Add the onions and garlic to the skillet with the beef, stirring occasionally. After 2–3 minutes, add the bell peppers and tomatoes. Stir in the jerk seasoning and cook for another 5–7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  5. While the beef mixture cooks, peel and slice the plantains. In a separate pan, heat oil and fry the plantains until golden and crispy on both sides.
  6. Serve the Jamaican Bully Beef over the rice and top with the fried plantains.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and enjoy your flavorful and hearty meal!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. To reheat, warm it on the stove or in the microwave until heated through. For longer storage, you can freeze Jamaican Bully Beef for up to a month. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before reheating.
