Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until the batter is smooth.
- Add flour, salt, and baking powder to the mixture, combining thoroughly.
- Pour in the melted butter and stir until well incorporated.
- Fold in the chocolate chips gently using a spatula.
Assembly
- Pour half of the peanut butter batter into the prepared cake pan.
- Create a center layer of brownie batter using the remaining batter, then cover it with the rest of the peanut butter mixture.
Baking
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For serving, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, or drizzle with chocolate sauce for extra indulgence. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to four days.
