  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter You can substitute with crunchy peanut butter for added texture.
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 pieces eggs Make sure they are at room temperature.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted Ensure it is at room temperature.
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips Consider dark or white chocolate chips for variation.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until the batter is smooth.
  3. Add flour, salt, and baking powder to the mixture, combining thoroughly.
  4. Pour in the melted butter and stir until well incorporated.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips gently using a spatula.
Assembly
  1. Pour half of the peanut butter batter into the prepared cake pan.
  2. Create a center layer of brownie batter using the remaining batter, then cover it with the rest of the peanut butter mixture.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  2. Allow the cake to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For serving, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, or drizzle with chocolate sauce for extra indulgence. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to four days.
