  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved Approximately 300 g
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp hot honey Adjust to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 ball burrata cheese Approximately 4 oz / 125 g
  • 1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
  • Toasted baguette slices or warm pita bread for serving

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a small baking dish, toss cherry tomatoes with olive oil, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  • Roast for 20–25 minutes, until the tomatoes burst and become soft and jammy.
  • Remove from oven and drizzle hot honey over the roasted tomatoes. Gently stir to coat.
  • Place the burrata in the center of the warm tomato mixture. Let it soften for 2–3 minutes, then lightly tear it open to reveal its creamy interior.
  • Sprinkle with chopped basil and an extra drizzle of olive oil or hot honey if desired.
  • Serve immediately with toasted baguette slices or warm pita for dipping.

This dip can be served with toasted baguette slices or warm pita bread. Pair with a fresh garden salad or a tangy cucumber salad for a light meal. For extra flavor, consider adding a drizzle of balsamic reduction or some sliced olives on the side. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days.
