  • 2 cups powdered milk Non-dairy milk powder can be used as an alternative
  • 1 pinch salt Enhances flavor

Flavorings

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla powder Optional, can add for flavor enhancement
  • chocolate chips or spices (cinnamon, cayenne) Optional to add a kick or richness

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, granulated sugar, powdered milk, and a pinch of salt until well-blended.
  • Stir in the vanilla powder and any additional spices you prefer. Mix until evenly distributed.
  • Transfer the Hot Chocolate Mix to an airtight container for storage.

Serving

  • For each serving, mix 1/4 cup of the Hot Chocolate Mix with 1 cup of hot water or milk.
  • Whisk until smooth and top with marshmallows or whipped cream if desired.

Notes

For a richer experience, heat milk in a saucepan instead of using water, which enhances creaminess. Adjust the proportions based on personal taste preferences.
