Ingredients
  

For the Filling

  • 1 package Crescent Dough Use according to package instructions
  • 1 cup Mini pepperonis
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese Use a good quality cheese for best results
  • 1/2 cup Pizza sauce For dipping

For the Glaze

  • 2 tablespoons Butter Melted
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic salt Enhances flavor of the poppers

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven according to the crescent dough package instructions.
  • Roll out the crescent dough and cut it into small squares.
  • Place mini pepperonis and shredded mozzarella cheese in the center of each dough square.
  • Fold the dough over to cover the filling and seal the edges.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 10-15 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, melt the butter and mix in the garlic salt.
  • Once the pizza poppers are done, brush them with the garlic butter glaze.

Serving

  • Serve warm with pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

Seal the edges of the dough well to avoid spilling filling during baking. Experiment with different fillings like vegetables or cooked sausage. Sprinkle Italian seasoning on top before baking for extra flavor.
