  • 3 pieces Pita bread Whole wheat pita bread can be used for more fiber.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Use extra virgin for best flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust according to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder For added flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika Can be smoked paprika for a different taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper Freshly cracked is preferred.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cut the pita bread into triangles.
  • In a bowl, toss the pita triangles with olive oil, salt, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper.
  • Spread the coated pita triangles on a baking sheet in a single layer.

Baking

  • Bake for about 10-15 minutes or until they are golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  • Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, bake a little longer, but keep a close eye to prevent burning. Store cooled chips in an airtight container for up to a week.
