  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch Can substitute with all-purpose flour if needed.
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Stir in at the end until melted.

Preparation

  • Peel and slice the fresh peaches.
  • In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches with brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
  • Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes to allow the juices to release.
  • In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch with a little water to create a slurry.

Cooking

  • Add the cornstarch mixture to the peaches and stir to combine.
  • Cook the mixture over medium heat in a saucepan until it thickens, stirring gently.
  • Once thickened, remove from heat and stir in butter until melted.

Cooling and Serving
