Ingredients

Fruits

  • 2 pounds fresh peaches, peeled, pitted, and chopped Ensure the peaches are ripe for the best flavor.

Ice Cream Base

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 pint half-and-half cream
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
  • 1 can evaporated milk (12 oz)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whole milk (or as needed) Add enough to fill the container to the fill line.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Dice the peaches and mix them with sugar in a bowl. Let the mixture sit while you prepare the rest of the ingredients.
  • In a separate bowl, combine half-and-half, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla extract. Stir well.

Mixing and Freezing

  • Stir in the peach and sugar mixture into the milk mixture until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture into your ice cream freezer container. Add enough whole milk to fill the container to the fill line, about 2 cups. Follow the manufacturer's instructions to freeze the ice cream.

Notes

Store the ice cream in an airtight container in your freezer for about 2 weeks. Let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping for easier serving.
