  • Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and let cook for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Adjust seasonings to taste and serve.

Notes

Store leftover sauce in an airtight container for up to 1 week in the refrigerator, or freeze for up to 3 months. Consider blending for a smoother texture or adding fresh herbs before serving.
