Glaze Ingredients

  • 1 cup powdered sugar for glaze
  • 2 tablespoons milk for glaze
  • Sprinkles optional

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a donut pan.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix together the milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  • Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just mixed.
  • Fill the donut pan with the batter.

Baking

  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Let the donuts cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Glazing

  • Mix the powdered sugar and milk for the glaze until smooth and divide into bowls with different food colors.

Notes

Store your Homemade Galaxy Donuts in an airtight container at room temperature for a couple of days, or refrigerate for up to a week. To reheat, pop them in the microwave for a few seconds. For longer storage, freeze them in a freezer-safe container with layers separated by parchment paper.
