Homemade – Everything Stir Fry Sauce

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup light soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and the rest of the ingredients.
  • Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for about 2-3 minutes or until it thickens to your desired consistency.
  • Remove from heat and it is ready to mix with your favorite stir fry vegetables, noodles, meat, or seafood.
  • Alternatively, let it cool and store in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Notes

Use 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup per pan of stir fry (3-4 servings). Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. For freezing, store in ice cube trays for up to three months.
