Ingredients
  

Vegetables

  • 4 cups Green Cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1 cup Red Cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1 cup Carrots, grated
  • 1/4 cup Red Onion, finely diced

Dressing

  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon Celery Seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper

Preparation

  • Chill your mixing bowl for an extra-crisp finish.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, celery seed, salt, and black pepper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add shredded green and red cabbage, grated carrots, and diced red onion.
  • Pour the dressing over the vegetables and toss gently until well combined.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.
  • Stir gently and adjust seasoning if needed before serving.
  • Serve chilled with your favorite dishes.

Notes

For better texture, use a sharp knife or a mandoline for finely shredding vegetables. Experiment with different types of onions or fresh herbs for added flavor.
