Ingredients
  

Cheeses

  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated Use fresh, grated Parmesan for best results.
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded Fresh mozzarella works well.

Cream Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cream cheese, softened Make sure it's at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup Heavy whipping cream Use full-fat for a richer flavor.

Other Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Butter Unsalted butter preferred.
  • 2 cloves Minced garlic Adjust to taste.

Preparation

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Cooking

  • Pour in the heavy whipping cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Stir in the cream cheese until melted and smooth.
  • Gradually add the Parmesan and mozzarella cheese, stirring constantly until the sauce is thickened and creamy.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat gently on the stove, adding milk or cream if it thickens.
