  • 200 g Butter Unsalted, browned for flavor.
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1 packet or tsp Vanilla sugar Adds extra flavor.
  • 250 g Flour All-purpose flour.
  • 1 pinch Salt Enhances flavor.

Optional Topping

  • to taste Powdered sugar for dusting Optional for serving.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Brown the butter and let it cool.
  • Mix in the sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, and flour.
  • Shape the dough into logs and chill them in the refrigerator.

Baking

  • Slice the chilled dough into rounds.
  • Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 12–15 minutes.
  • Cool the cookies and dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or freeze for longer storage. Ensure butter is browned for added flavor. Don't overbake for best texture.
