  • 3 cups chopped cabbage (about 1/2 head)
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes, no sugar added
  • 4 cups beef broth or bone broth for extra nutrition
  • 1 cup water (adjust for desired thickness)

  • In a large pot, heat the olive oil or butter over medium heat.
  • Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened.
  • Add ground beef, cooking until browned and cooked through.
  • Stir in the chopped cabbage and cook for a few minutes until it begins to wilt.
  • Pour in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, and water. Stir to combine.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Adjust thickness with more water if needed, season with salt and pepper to taste.
