Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 3 large ripe bananas Use very ripe bananas for maximum sweetness and moisture.
  • 4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup unsalted peanut butter Feel free to experiment with different nut butters.
  • ½ cup dairy-free dark chocolate chips Optional; can be adjusted to taste.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a 6-inch brownie pan with parchment paper and grease lightly with cooking oil.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth without large chunks.
  • Stir in the peanut butter and unsweetened cocoa powder. Mix until the batter resembles brownie batter consistency.
  • Fold in the dairy-free dark chocolate chips, distributing them evenly.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and optionally sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top.

Baking

  • Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25–30 minutes.
  • Check doneness by inserting a toothpick in the center; it should come out with a few moist crumbs.

Cooling and Serving

  • Remove the brownies from the oven and allow them to cool on a cooling rack for 20 minutes before slicing.
  • Serve warm with whipped coconut cream, fresh fruit, or drizzle with almond or peanut butter sauce.
