  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 4 leaves Lettuce
  • 4 slices Tomatoes

Method

Preparation

  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef with 2 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce, salt, and pepper. Shape into 4 patties.
Cooking
  1. Cook patties on the grill or skillet for about 5 minutes per side, brushing with remaining teriyaki sauce.
  2. During the last few minutes of cooking, add pineapple rings to the grill/pan to caramelize.
  3. Toast hamburger buns on the grill.
Assembly
  1. Assemble burgers by placing a beef patty on each bun, topped with pineapple, red onion, lettuce, and tomato. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Serve burgers alongside sweet potato fries or a refreshing salad. Provide extra teriyaki sauce or a creamy mayo-based sauce to enhance the taste. For added flavor, consider marinating ground beef in teriyaki sauce for an hour before shaping. Use fresh pineapple for juiciness, and experiment with different cheeses for a twist.
