  • 1 pound Ground Turkey
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 small Yellow Onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Tomato Paste
  • 1/4 cup Chicken Broth
  • 8 small Corn or Flour Tortillas
  • Toppings of choice: diced avocado, chopped cilantro, shredded lettuce, cheese, salsa

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  • Add the chopped onion and cook until soft (about 3 minutes), then stir in the garlic.
  • Add the ground turkey and cook until browned.
  • Stir in the tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Toast for 1 minute.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and stir to coat the meat evenly.
  • Simmer for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Let the mixture continue simmering gently, stirring occasionally, until flavors are well blended.
  • Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave wrapped in a damp towel for 30 seconds.
  • Spoon turkey filling into tortillas and top with your favorite add-ons.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
