  • 5 cups green cabbage, shredded or chopped Incorporate more vegetables for added nutrition.
  • 1/4 cup low carb taco seasoning Adjust to taste.
  • 1 Tbsp dry minced onion
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Top with cheese for a flavorful finish.

  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  • Add the shredded cabbage to the skillet and stir to combine with the ground beef.
  • Sprinkle the taco seasoning and dry minced onion over the mixture.
  • Pour in the water, stirring to combine.
  • Cover the skillet and let it cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender.
  • Remove the lid and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Serve with sour cream or guacamole. Add tortilla chips for crunch. Leftovers store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days, or freeze for two months.
